THAW - acronym for "Things Happening And Whatnot"; also refers to the process of going from a frozen to liquid state.

THAW is a software library for simple object-oriented concurrency. It's state is experimental -- that being said, the first version of it was developed during a "real", commercial Eclipse RCP project where concurrency was an issue.

THAW is delivered as an Eclipse plug-in, and may as such be used both in an Eclipse environment as well as in a 'pure' Java environment.
